Sowerby Methodist Church

On Saturday 8 October was the sponsored swim to raise funds for the NCH. A group of us from Sowerby were joined by a group from Brompton at Thirsk swimming baths and altogether we totalled about 30. The swim lasted for an hour and results ranged from about 10 lengths of the 25m pool to about 90 (!) so we all kept fit but also raised money for a worthy cause! We later bought fish and chips and had an enjoyable hour together back at the chapel.
